Hello, I’m Tango and I’ m visiting Venice, Italy. I found the plane ride was very long but it was worth it. I arrived here in Venice around 8:00 a.m. It was very cool using a gondola as my transportation but it was something different. On my way I saw the Rialto Bridge, which happens to be the oldest and the most famous of the four bridges that span across the Grand Canal. Later I will be visiting Doge’s Palace. If your wondering who Doge was, he was a chief magistrate and the leader of a Most Serene Republic of Venice. I think before I go check out the Doges Palace, I will go see the beautiful sculptors located left of the Venetian Arsenal’s. I noticed on my way to see the sculptors there were some incredible little stores and I thought I could use some new clothes. I really want to see the sculptors first, so the new clothes can wait. I think I’ll just keep walking to the sculptors. I really love the beautiful gates and buildings behind the sculptors. The architecture makes the building really pop and the gates seem so formal. The great thing about being in a place with a camera and lots of artifacts is that you have something to photograph and take home and show the kids at Meath Park School the great memories. Huh it’s already 7:30. I think I’ll take a gondola ride back to my hotel Al Ponte Antico Hotel. But I think I’ll have to find a gondola first before I go anywhere. [Whistle] Sir can you please take me to the hotel Al Ponte Altico Hotel please. Sissingnore. Good thing I learned Italian at Meath Park before I left. [I get on]. I can’t believe still how clear this water is and how clean this city is. [Ten minutes later] well thank you signore for the ride. Now how much would that be? Oh nothing signore. What are you talking about! Signore I know your Tango from Meath Park School and I want you to feel welcome. Thank you. The hotel that I’m staying at is the Al Ponte Antico Hotel. [Walk into the hotel]. Excuse me I have reservations’ for Mr. Tango. Yes your room number is 287. Have a good night, you to. [He walks to his room and goes to bed. The next morning Tango goes and looks at more amazing historical landmarks].[Tango goes to the Santo Stefano Church]. Santo Stefano Church the church was built in the 13th century and rebuilt in the 14th century and altered in the 15th century again. Once I am done looking at the church I go to the Accademia Museum in the Dorsorduro. [He leaves and goes out for supper]. [Two days pass]. Well my time here is over so I better go to the airport again and get on a plane to Canada.[He gets back to Canada one day later].[He tells the Meath Park School kids his adventures].

Sincerely, Tango
